In My Own Words
The Gabrielle Roth 5 Rhythms (R)flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness are states of beings that invite us to dance into new pathways of inner and outer creation. We are guided into each state of being with the heartbeat of our feet and the holy ground of the dance floor.
As we surrender to the dance, deep muscle warming and breath engage into letting go of stress and contraction. As we surrender to our dance our physical bodies on a cellular level are transformed. This shape shifting invigorates the innate healer that dwells in all of us.
As we surrender to the dance and its movements, the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies come together in a supportive community that weaves us back into the vibrant, balanced and harmonious being that we truly are.
When we dance, there is no escape. There will be laughter, there may be tears. We may catch glimpses of the future and the past. Deep dark memories or elegant past lives may bubble up and just when we want to run away, we stay and keep dancing and we are set free.

Filled with Grace
lyrics and music written by Margaux Skalecki
We step onto the dance floor and we are filled with grace. we step onto the dance floor this is our sacred space.
I bow my head in reverence, my tears anoint the floor.
An inner voice says trust yourself, trust yourself, fear and ego walk out the door.
Yet trust does not come easy when you've been shattered as a child.
You walk between the earth and sky picking up pieces mile by mile.
And then the dance says come and find me and I will bring you back to life.
And then the dance says come and find me and you'll be set for life.
